From the corner pubs of your hometown, to exotic destinations overseas, The Beer Show serves up round after round of interesting facts, anecdotes, and history about one of the world’s most famous beverages.

Join John as he tours breweries across the country and around the world, revealing little known techniques and time tested traditions passed down through generations of brewers. Each stop is an education in history, travel, and culture.

Visit family owned alehouses rich in history and chock full of stories. Learn from the owners and bartenders themselves about patrons - famous and infamous - who passed through their doors to grab a cold one.

The Beer Show explores local, private venues as well, leaving no stone (or basement bar) unturned. Whether it’s St. Patrick’s Day, Oktoberfest, or just a Sunday football game, you’ll get a firsthand glimpse of ordinary people – just like you – and the way they celebrate this extraordinary drink.

John encourages viewers to submit, via email, their favorite drinking establishments to be visited by the show, be it a neighborhood tavern or a back yard bar. John also addresses viewers’ questions in The Mailbag and FYI sections of the show. You’ll hear about everything from bottle openers to hops and barley, and better understand what makes beer so unique – and delicious!

We’ll tour places like the famous Heineken brewery located in Amsterdam, follow us as we walk the dark, foggy streets of London where we’ll stop off at “The Ten Bells Tavern,” which looks the same as it did in the late 1800’s, when Jack the Ripper was a local regular!!! Or how about helping us out as we take part in the “Great American Beer Festival,” held every year in Denver, Colorado?

John Strevens has been an actor/musician/writer since his pre-teens. He has been featured in national commercials, film and television, and has also released many recordings of his own music. Along with his brother David, John also co-produced “ The Beer Show!” Dave Strevens is a partner in a broadcast television production company with facilites in Los Angeles and central New Jersey. His client base includes MTV Networks, Spike TV, VH1, HGTV, Comedy Central, E!, Style Network and many more. Together, John and David will jointly produce all the episodes. With writing, pre-production, and post-production all done in-house, it is certain that everything will be done on budget and on time.

Collectively, beer companies are one of the largest advertisers in all media worldwide.
